Red coral, a treasure in forgotten Mediterranean
MeetingWith Camille Prioux and Clémence ForinPhD students at the Scientific Centre of Monaco
The red coral, an emblematic species of the Mediterranean Sea, has long been coveted for its characteristic red skeleton, caught in jewellery. Today, it faces new threats related to human presence, especially because of global warming that also affects the temperature of sea water. A research team from the Scientific Centre of Monaco will share its knowledge and discoveries at this conference.
