Undefined, cosmopolitan, Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski became Joseph Conrad (1857-1924) is undoubtedly part of this category of writer who has left his mark as a citizen of the world before being Polish, Ukrainian or British. This planetary dimension Conrad has acquired it in maritime adventures that have marked the first departure of its adult existence. His story is also French since it is from the port of Marseille that he embarks as a foam on a sailboat before becoming a captain over the course for twenty years, before embarking on a narrative of this adventure life with the success we know.
