#22 - A la découverte des pochoirs d’animaux marins d’Artmor1

The artist Artmor1 was commissioned by the city of Nice to carry out pokers of marine animals in connection with the year of the sea and the oceans and the reception of the conference of united nations for the oceans (UNOC) in 2025.

The artist thus created 10 coloured stencils mainly of protected species animals that can be discovered between Place Masséna, Avenue Jean Médecin and Avenue Malausséna.

After the work “eyes” carried out by Otom in the tunnel Durante, in 2024, a project finally saw the day in the hypercentre of Nice: 10 pokers on the theme of the sea made by the artist Artmor1 on caches of electric meters on the main artery of the city of Place Masséna, passing through avenue Jean Médecinna to the top of the avenue Malsséau.

Romain, aka Art Make One Right, aka Artmor1 is 41 years old. Born in Nice, where he's been making stencils for five years. He began at the age of 16-17 to make tags on the walls, to write his blaze (Snake or Sincé), from 1998 to 2005. Then he completely stopped for several years. It was traveling to London, Bristol, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris... that he discovered street art and Banksy which was a revelation for him. Since then he has made graffiti on Nice on the free expression walls around the themes of the trip but also recently as part of the 100 years of Cote d’Azur Habitat where he has made a façade in Las Planas with 3 women in monumental version.

We invite you to discover these works as part of a walk from 30 to 45 minutes
