Musical and choreographic event, FranceconcertpresentCarmina Burana, one of the most famous masterpieces of the XXecentury.

Founded on a collection of lyrical poems, Carmina Burana was composed by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936. Presented for the first time in 1937 at the Frankfurt Opera, this masterpiece has always fascinated and does not leave the general public indifferent. The most famous movement, “O Fortuna”, taken at the end of the work, is now world-famous.

Interpreted with passion and power by choirs and soloists, these profane and Latin songs tell us a story of life, death, destiny and especially love. Nearly 100 artists sing the joy of spring return and the pleasures of alcohol, play with the wheel of destiny, dance love and lust. This new production takes place with sensuality and emotion of this musical phenomenon to show that music, gesture and speech are inseparable.
