Meeting with Jean Siccardi

Through a forgotten gray notebook, the path of a man to reappropriate family memory
Louis leads a lonely life in Nice. When he inherited from his grandparents’ house, Laurent and Rose Lantier, he left for Le Broc, a small village on a rocky piton overlooking the Var, which houses the family home.
While he had no longer thought of his grandparents for years, the memories flock as soon as he settled in the house where he grew up, raised by Laurent and Rose. And a particular memory of the obsess: that of a small gray notebook that had given him his grandfather when he was a child. A book that his grandfather had entrusted to him as a secret, which he had asked him to consult only after his death and to burn once he had read it. But the years have passed, and Louis forgot...
This book contains an essential and precious testimony, which will make him discover under a new day this grandfather whom he loved but whose silence he did not understand...
Because Laurent was resistant, Laurent was arrested and tortured, Laurent was deported to Auschwitz. So many things that he has always killed but that he has carefully recorded in his gray notebook.
