Direction, Marco Vezzoso The Big Band consists of 16 to 18 musicians, students of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Pierre Cochereau de Nice, gathered in the largest jazz formation. The Big Band of the Conservatoire interprets the great standards of jazz, from swing to funky, specially designed for the Big Band, and gives itself to the discovery of new spaces thanks to the Sound Painting (improved direction without score) under the joint direction of Marco Vezzoso and Jean-Marc Baccarini. Tradition and modernism are at the rendezvous during these concerts.
