Workshop A
The laboratory of Atelier A is a place of theatrical experimentation. The goal is the path, the individual and collective process around a so-called Method of Analyzing-Action by means of Study, by means of improvisation.
After two years devoted to the various facts and to their set-up, the workshop proposes to explore what the documentary theatre can be about some themes and/or texts that will be chosen at the beginning of the year according to the participants present. It will be a matter of setting up a protocol of repetition and a research protocol to allow the theatre of our experiments.
Cyril Cotinaut, who is at the origin of this laboratory created in 2014 and who supervises his experiments, holds the DE Enseignement Théâtre, a graduate of the Mise en Scène de l’ENSATT (Lyon), director of the trilogy Les Enfants d’Atrée, an artist associated with the TNN, a former professor at the Conservatoires de Nice and Avignon.
L’Atelier A is traditionally addressed to actors but is also open to videographers, dancers, clowns, musicians (professionals or amateurs) already trained or in training ( conservatory students, former students of speciality, students of Arts and Spectacles) concerned with developing their creative and analytical abilities.
