The comedian Geneviève de Kermabon offers the TNN its new creationCatch the angel, in which the interviews of some thirty artists are intertwined: Ariane Ascaride, Catherine Hiegel, or Charles Berling... The actress retraces their tasty or terrifying stories and immerses us in their artist’s privacy.
From these interviews, Geneviève de Kermabon imagines a story: that of Alice, whose parents are great artists she admires infinitely. Naturally, she tries to follow their path, but realizes that she has neither the gift, nor the flame, nor the force. Only one moving scene on the feeling of being or not being in his place.

THE INTENTION

Throughout the shows I've mounted, some artists have been for me models, benchmarks. From the first show, it appeared to me that these interviews could not be returned to the theatre only by words. It was necessary to find a very assertive form to allow me to make all these confidences universal and subjective. I understood as the very form of these shows was to pass through the artisanal manufacture of objects. Everything that allowed me to break up with realistic interpretation. Turn game codes, mix genres.
